Interesting... I write non-fiction the same way I write fiction; to me, all my writing--if the objective is to challenge perspectives, provoke thought, and elicit emotion--is art!

Kudos on the fiction book... I can't wait to read it!

I agree completely with you, actually. I find it easier to write objective styles (journalistic pieces, creative non-fiction) than fiction. This may be because I feel I have a better objective barometer of whether an article I've written is good than a short story--it feels more technical than artistic.
